Working hard.

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted on this blog. I have been so busy and have no time for myself lately. Clayton and I both started Crossfit! It is awesome because we can finally afford for the both of us to do it. It is literally right down the street too so it isn't a burden to get to. We love it so far! It is very hard though. I am excited for the challenge and to be able to push my body in ways that I have never done before. I want to feel strong and confident. On top of Crossfit, I am still working full time as a nanny and then I am also taking online courses. My weeks are so long! I am excited though because next week is Thanksgiving! My favorite holiday! I was worried about what I was going to do for my meal being that I am not hosting Thanksgiving and I definitely do not expect my family to modify all their food for me. Thank goodness my friend is following my similar diet and offered to make a Thanksgiving meal with me the day before to be able to bring with us to our family gatherings. I collected some recipes that we will use to create a great meal and I am going to share the links here to give you all some ideas of what to make for your amazing feast :)

Rosemary Roasted Turkey
Green Bean Casserole
Browned Butter Whipped Butternut Squash :use Ghee instead of butter
Stuffing :use a substitute for Jicama
Pumpkin Pie
I have a breadstick recipe I am making from the Against All Grain cookbook. Unfortunately she does not have the recipe on her blog.

I believe this is all that I am going to make to create our healthy feast! Lets hope all goes well. I have never made a Thanksgiving dinner before haha

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
