Married Life

The first night of our "hotel getaway" we went out to dinner at Joe's Crab Shack. We took a taxi there! haha I had never ridden in a taxi before so that was kind of fun :)

We walked around downtown, got some candy samples, tried on these funny masks, and just had a good time with each other.
A few nights later, I had a groupon for this japanese restaurant. The guy cooked the food in front of us. It was a lot fun. He was making a volcano with the onions in this picture.
The food was delicious!!!! Definitely a good groupon I purchased :)
For labor day weekend, we went camping with mom, Joe, Lindsay, and her kids. It was up at the beach which was sooo fun. We slept on the beach and Clayton couldnt get over how awesome it was :P He had never slept on the beach before.
While we were up there, we visited the lighthouse that was nearby. I had never been to a lighthouse before so that was really cool.
We found out that it was the same lighthouse that was filmed in the movie Forever Young. Clayton guessed it before we found out. He is such a movie buff. We ended up watching it when we got home from camping. I had never seen it before. It was a great movie!
This is us at the top of the lighthouse. Such a cool view. There were so many stairs. Apparently the most stairs a lighthouse can have haha.

Camping was a blast. It was a KOA campsite so it had a hot tub and sand volleyball and off road go carts. We enjoyed all those things along with SMORES!!! my favorite :D it was a lot of fun. Clayton and I are already planning our next camping trip haha. We just cant get enough :) this time though, it will be real camping, out in the WILD :-/ haha
