Our temple sealing was on August 20th, 2011. It was the most perfect day of our entire lives. I could not stop smiling and there was not a worry in my mind. A lot of people told me that it is normal to cry the night before from being so stressed and that it is okay to be nervous. I was shocked to find that I did not have any nervousness or breakdowns the night before or day of. I had never felt so calm and peaceful in my life. Our sealing was at 1 pm which left us a good amount of time in the morning to prepare for the special day. Clayton's sister Whitney did my hair and makeup. It turned out perfect!! She did such a great job!
The sealing was absolutely beautiful and we thank Clayton's grandpa for that. We are so grateful that we were able to have him there to seal us together for time and all eternity :)We had so many family and friends there waiting for us outside the temple. It was such an awesome feeling coming out to see everyone as they all clapped for us. Not going to lie, Clayton and I felt a little awkward having everyone staring at us, but we got through it for the pictures haha
We had a lot of bridesmaids and groomsmen. :D We were so happy that they were all able to be there. The colors of the dresses and the flowers and the ties all worked so perfectly together. I couldn't be happier :D Karla and Mark did an awesome job with the photography as well. We cannot thank them enough.
Clayton and I inside the barn before the reception started.
The reception was absolutely beautiful!!!!!!! Man, it was my dream come true. Thank goodness for my sister and for Sarah and for all the family and friends who helped. It came together so fast and we forgot a few things here and there, but it didn't even matter. I was so happy with everything :D
Our cake turned out absolutely perfect as well. We got the cake made for free and then I made the cake topper. We were so lucky to be able to get so many things for free. Oh, and I truly appreciated Clayton smashing that cake into my face hahahaha NOT! It went all up in my nose. Took me forever to get it all out. haha Thanks Honey :P
This is how the reception looked from across the water. Truly Magical :)
At the end, everyone pulled out a sparkler!!! The perfect way to end the night. SOOO much fun! Definitely got some cool pictures too! Clayton and I went off to a local hotel for a few nights. We didn't go on a long honeymoon. We are holding off on that till December. So we are looking forward to it :) The hotel stay was perfect though. We could be lazy and not worry about being anywhere. It was great to be able to relax before life started for us haha.
