Clayton and I had a blast this weekend! We went off-Roading with some friends in their Jeep. We left Friday night really late. When we got up there it was about 1 am and then another guy who came with us, his truck broke as it was climbing a hill and so we had to figure out if it could be fixed and then tow it up the hill and so we didnt set up camp until 4 am. We were all exhausted. We woke up at around 8 or 8:30 am to get ready for some more off-roading. I made us pancakes and our friend made the sausage while the rest packed up the tents.
We continued on our way. It was so much fun. It felt like the Indiana Jones ride except 5o times longer :D Clayton had soooo much fun. It was so cute how excited he got about everything. He rode on the top of the jeep most of the time. I was worried about it at first but he handled it fine. Here's just a tiny glimpse of what we did. We ended up leaving that day while everyone else stayed to tent another night. It wasnt so good for us though on the way back. We thought we were going to have to stay another night because a piece of his alternator broke and he wasnt sure if he was going to be able to fix it. So we were stuck there for a few hours. I just sat there and watched as the sun kept going down.
I prayed soooo much! I truly believe we were blessed that Dustin was able to fix the jeep and that we were able to get out of there. Scary though that when we were going down this other steep hill, Dustins rear slid into a huge rock, smashing the window. I just happened to be sitting on that side so I was sitting on glass for a little bit haha. Eventually we got out of there. We still had a two hour drive home. We were all exhausted and ended up pulling over on the side of the road to sleep. I slept pretty much the whole way so I dont really remember much. Clayton and I had to drive 20 minutes more to get home. We were exhausted and sooo dirty. We took a shower before bed as well so we didnt get to bed until 4 am again. It was one heck of a weekend haha.
