Fall Festival

SO today was the fall festival at the preschool I work at. I had no idea what costume i was going to wear for it, when I woke up this morning. I plan to be a vampire for halloween; but I didnt want to do that today and scare the kids hahaha so I wanted to do something friendlier. I ended up wearing all black and made a quick run to target to see what they had to offer me in the halloween section. I was totally out of luck, because they had nothing easy. I was hoping for some cat ears or something, but they didnt have any of that kind of thing. They had a shirt that said, "I dont do costumes". haha It was actually pretty cute and I was so frustrated about not having a costume that I was tempted to just buy that...but then I figured, what a waste that would be since preschoolers wouldnt find it humorous at all to see me wearing it and they cant even read it lol so i scratched that idea pretty quick.

I decided that i would just draw some cobwebs on my eyes and say I was a spider (since i was wearing all black.) I got to the school and turns out, they had an extra, big furry spider with red beady eyes that they weren't using!!! I so lucked out haha so I got some string from the art closet and tied the spider around my belly so the spider was right there for all the kids to see. Then I went into the bathroom and did my web eyes. They turned out so neat and I got so many compliments. Not only from the kids but from tons of parents! My last minute costume was a success haha YAY! I didnt get a picture of my spider but here is a pic of my eyes...

I love dressing up for Halloween. It is just so much fun! Can't wait to be vampires with Clayton on wednesday! :)
