Clayton proposed to me on May 18th :) I was so surprised and not expecting it to happen at all when he did. I flew in for his surgery that he was having on the 20th and he proposed to me right then and there at the airport. Family were there and everything. Of course I could not help but cry and then said yes to him after he got down on one knee. It wasn't too long ago when I told myself that there was no way I was ever going to get married. Look at me now. I could not be any happier and I am so lucky to have such an amazing guy in my life.
Here are a few of the engagement photos we were able to take while I was home during that visit. Clayton donated his kidney to his dad and so we had to take them before that surgery. We did not have them professionally done, but we had family take them and you would think that they were done by a pro. We were so very grateful about that. Here are two out of the 18 or so of our favorites. :)
We will be getting married August 20th :D I am already so sick of planning this wedding. I've gotten to the point where I don't really want to do it anymore. haha Lets just get married and that is it :P ...but I guess the reception is important in its own way. I am sure it will all turn out great and it will be one of the happiest days of my life. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with him! <3
