The Burrups came to visit!

Wow, where did the time go? Time seriously flies faster and faster the older you get. This last week, my sister Jen and her family came down to visit. They stayed at my place which was super fun! Got to spend sooo much time with them. Also makes me happy that they really enjoy staying here even if it is sort of small :P For New Years, we had a small party with the kids. Brought in the new year with freeze wrestling with "uncle clayton", bubbles, balloons, confetti poppers, hot chocolate, and music. here are us girls before the kids' bedtime.

After the kids went to sleep, we had our own time with tons of party appetizers. Some of clayton's buddies came over. We talked a lot, ate, and then at midnight, we had cider and pie! SO it was a pretty simple night.

New Years day, Jen and I spent the day shopping at the goodwill while the boys went shooting. We found some awesome things! I got a few extra days off from work so we could hang out some more. On wednesday, we went to eat at red robin; dad's favorite :P

After eating, we went to the jelly belly factory. That was pretty neat. Hadnt been there since I was little.

After the jelly belly factory, we went back to grandma Bs house to have dinner and stay the night. Other family came over as well and we had a lot of fun catching up and taking pictures. Ha Addi and Bri loooove taking pictures. I couldn't get enough of Addi's facial expressions haha soooo adorable!

Thursday, we went to six flags. We had a blast. I think most everyones favorite part about that trip was the elephant show. We were soooo close to the African elephant and were even able to touch it afterwards. It was way cool. I have gone to six flags many times but i think that had to have been one the best times I have had there. Here is Carter and Brielle watching the elephant as the show was ending. After six flags, we went to texas roadhouse for dinner. Our good friend Mindy works there so we were able to visit with her while we ate :) I forgot how amazing that place is. Their rolls are to die for. I definitely plan to go there again soon with clayton haha

We had a great time with family and miss them already. Still so much we wanted to do with them, but didnt have enough time. Hope we get to see them again soon!!
