One Year Anniversary

It is so fun to look back on these pictures. This first one is from mine and Clayton's first date in Tahoe. :) Who would have known that we would fall in love?
Then here is when Clayton proposed to me almost a year later at the airport!! Such a great moment :)
Then here we are on our wedding day. SO much in love. Kissing in the photo booth :P
Seriously, this first year of marriage has been so perfect. Not because it was easy. It definitely was not easy; but I would not have wanted our first year to go any other way. The ups and downs have taught us so much and we have become so much stronger as a couple. I have learned so much about myself and so much about how to serve, how to forgive, how to love, the list goes on. I truly am gaining an understanding as to why it is so important to be married and to have a family in this life. There is no better way to learn and grow. I love Clayton so much and I am so lucky to have him in my life forever. It is so exciting to think about what is to come in this next year.
To celebrate on our actual anniversary, I made clayton a special breakfast and love note. He loved it! :)
A few weeks ago I bought Clayton some Oakley sunglasses that he had been wanting. So that was his early anniversary gift :P

Anyways, Marriage is wonderful. Wonderful because it is such an adventure. I love this quote and I try to apply it to my marriage.
It truly does wonders when this is applied to our marriages. Happy Blogging! :)
