Halloween!!

Halloween weekend was such a blast! I just love Halloween so much and clayton and I were so looking forward to it because of our awesome plans. Us and the fam had great face painting ideas :D Saturday we went out to lunch with my dad and Grandma at Red Robin. It was so nice to see them. I brought them some of my amazing pumpkin chocolate chip muffins. I am really into baking right now for some reason. Its super fun. Saturday night, we spent at my home wards Halloween party. We spent time with our family down there. The ward Halloween party was okay but we really had fun afterwards at Kyle and Christinas House. We brainstormed ideas for the amazing haunted house we want to create next year hahahaha who knows if it will actually happen but we were getting spooked just talking about all the things we could do. Anyways, Sunday we went to my home ward for church because the nephews had their primary program. Also gave us reason to sleep in a little later :P After church, all the fam came back to our house for my mother in laws Thai Pumpkin soup. It was delicious! We played games afterwards and then watched two movies: Captain America and Insidious. We had to get a scary movie for Halloween weekend. Insidious was such a perfect movie. It kept us all on our toes. It was about time too because we have been disappointed lately with everything we have watched or gone to that was supposed to be scary.

Monday, HALLOWEEN, was great. Clayton had to work but I had the day off. So I went to lunch with family and then headed over to Kyle and Christina's. I had to stop at yogurt delite first though. That place is the most amazing ever because they have a frozen yogurt that is soybased. (Dairy Free) it is the closest thing to the real deal! Tastes like heaven haha anyways, when i got to christina's we started our genius face painting. All of us girls did the day of the dead skeleton faces and all the guys did a creepy skeleton face. They turned out sooo awesome! :)
Our original plan was to go to John's Incredible Pizza for dinner because they had an awesome deal: $5 for all you can eat buffet and then they give you a $5 card for the arcade. Sweet right? Well, the line was forever long so half of us went to wait in line while the other half were finishing their face paint at home. We got to the front and were about to pay when the employees working the register told us that we had to go to the end of the line because the rest of our group walked into the line at the front. They said that it is not allowed for us to wait in line for them. We waited for about an hour and a half to be told that we had to go to the end of the line. We were so furious about it. What a waste of our time. We tried talking to the manager but they said nothing could be done because that was policy. So we decided to leave and not give them our money. Instead, we went bowling and had pizza there. That was a lot of fun! Heres a picture of our group. We looked so legit!
We are already thinking of ideas for what to do next year...this year will be hard to beat :) Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!!!
