Wednesday, we spent the day at Magic Mountain. We werent planning on it but when we saw it on the drive up, there was no way we could pass it up. haha. The first ride we went on when we got there was superman! Pretty cool ride. We were lucky that when we got there, there werent very many people there.
We got to see the Matt Hoffman show. That was really fun to watch. They got 3 dirtbike riders in that ball you see in the picture and they all rode around in it without hitting eachother, going upside down and up the sides! It was CRAZY!
Gotham City was cool. We went on the batman ride. Before that we went on the riddlers revenge. I had never been on a ride where you stand so that was really different.
Goliath was my favorite ride of all time! It has the steepest drop at the very beginning. We made sure we rode in the very front. It was awesome. We rode it again at night! SOOO cool.
Oh we made sure to get the capes haha. Joes lit up. The one im wearing is the one that we bought for Brielle, But i thought i would sport it for the picture haha The fan was blowing over that door way so we used it for effect haha
Thursday, We spent a day on the Santa Monica Beach. We got burnt. Joe looked like Hell Boy at the end of the day, NO JOKE!
The Beach was a beautiful. It was such a great day. The water was freezing tho. Joe and I toughed it out and spent time boogy boarding. Nothing better than getting salt water in your mouth haha SICK!
Friday, We went into the city and ate at the Famous Pinks. The Line was forever long and seems to always be that way. SOO many people want to eat there. I can understand why, the food there was delicious! After eating at pinks, we went and watched Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader. We were in the front row of the audience. It was really cool to watch how they film it and stuff. So yeah, they told us that we will be on tv sometime between September and May. haha looks like we will just have to watch every day :/! haha kinda lame. But oh well. it was a cool experience.
Saturday, we stayed in venice for a while and then rented bikes! SO much fun. We rode them along the beach all the way down to santa Monica, where we bought dip n dots at the pier. Then we rode them back. We had them for an hour and a half and then took them back. They were so relaxing and fun. Im glad we rented them.
While i rented the two wheel bike, mom and joe rented the 3 wheelers haha. They had alot of fun with those. Joe wants to buy one now to ride at home. i guess we will see if that will ever happen haha
This was the Lifeguard tower outside our hotel. We thought it was really cool looking so we took a picture on it. It says Be Free on it so that was cool.
On our way home on Sunday, we stopped by the los angeles temple. It was really pretty, kinda has the beachy feel to it. There was alot of construction going on so we couldnt take a picture infront of it, so we got the back.
I took a picture of the front as we drove by. Kinda Crooked but oh well. Ha it was the best i could do....
It was a great trip. We had alot of fun and had good bonding time. We just wish we could have stayed longer.
